Walter Van Beirendonck (born 1957) is a pioneering Belgian fashion designer and member of the influential "Antwerp Six," known for avant-garde, politically charged, and colorful menswear. Graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 1980, he served as the head of its fashion department from 2007 to 2022. His work is characterized by graphic, surrealist, and often, fetish-inspired designs that challenge gender and societal norms.
